Privacy Policy – Information Collection

Your privacy is of critical importance to us.

  • We have a strict no-logs policy. We do not collect telemetry or any other data about your activity.
  • We won’t ask you for any personal information unless it’s needed.
  • We won’t share or sell your personal information.
  • All data is stored on your devices for functionality purposes, and we don’t have any access to it.
  • Your location is stored on the device and is shared ONLY with the weather, air quality, or tides providers to download the correct data for your area; we do not have access to it.
  • If you configure the optional Home Assistant integration, your server URL and access token are stored strictly on your devices and are used only to communicate directly with your own Home Assistant instance.
  • The data is retained locally on your devices for as long as you have the app installed. Because we do not store your information on any external servers, you can permanently delete your data at any time by simply uninstalling the app or by clearing the app’s data from both your watch and your phone.

Permissions used in our apps / watchfaces

Activity Recognition

  • This permission is required to display the steps count.

Body Sensors

  • This permission is required to access the heart rate sensor and display your heart rate.

Access Fine, Coarse & Background Location

  • These permissions are required to retrieve your coordinates so the app can update local weather, air quality (AQI), ocean tides, and sun/moon astronomy data—including scheduled background updates for your watch face complications, tiles, and widgets when the app is closed.

Query Installed Apps & Notifications

  • Querying installed launcher apps is used strictly on-device to populate the Phone & Watch Shortcut selector. Notification and alarm permissions are used to display optional alerts and read your next scheduled system alarm.

Access Network State

  • This permission is required to check your connectivity to the internet before requesting the weather data.

Internet

  • This permission is required to access the internet and download the weather and location data. No other information is being transferred.

Vibrate

  • This permission is required to get tactile feedback when pressing a button.

Wake Lock

  • This permission is a prerequisite for watchfaces and is also required to wake your smartwatch when you use the Android companion app to edit the watchface settings.

Bluetooth

  • This permission is required by the companion app to check the connectivity of Tizen OS based watchfaces.

Foreground Service

  • This permission is required by the app to prevent it from being killed by the OS. Please also remove the app from any battery optimization service manually.
